YuME comes with a full manual to get you started. We'll also be adding new videos to demonstrate to the tools and answer common questions.
YuME is a 3D tile map editor designed to let you quickly create game levels, either as prototypes to try out new ideas, or fully formed levels ready to ship with the game.
YuME is based loosely on the tool we used to create the levels for the PS1 classic, Croc - Legend of the Gobbos, and the basis for most of the (now defunct) Argonaut Games PS1 output.
YuME comes with 50 prototype tiles to get you up and running quickly. It also comes with two additional tools allowing you to import your own models or convert existing assets into a YuME friendly format.
